Rabbit Hole Dareringer is a wheated Kentucky straight bourbon from Louisville, bottled at 46.5% in a 750ml bottle. The mashbill is 68% corn, 18% wheat and 14% malted barley.
The bourbon is aged in new toasted and charred American oak, then finished in 500-litre Pedro Ximénez sherry butts that held PX sherry for around 30 years. Batches are limited to no more than 15 barrels.
The nose brings sherry and dark cherry, with raisins, currants and candied lemon peel. The palate is soft and fruity, with a silky texture, and the finish is light and gently dry.
