Adourra is a nine-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon from Rabbit Hole's Founder's Collection, a limited-edition release. It was distilled in Kentucky, aged for nine years and then finished in Armagnac casks from France.
It is bottled at a cask strength of 54.8% ABV, without chill filtration or dilution, and comes in a custom bottle with embossed artwork and a wax-sealed cork.
The nose shows dried figs, toasted nuts, orange peel and fine leather. On the palate are dark fruit, Armagnac-soaked oak, cocoa, baking spice and roasted pecans. The finish is long and warming, with toffee, charred oak and a touch of Armagnac sweetness.
