Rangers Blair Athol 26 Years Old (70cl, 55.2%)

This is a 26 year old single malt from Blair Athol, selected by Rangers Football Club for the Old & Rare range from Douglas Laing. It comes from a single refill hogshead, distilled in August 1997 and bottled in November 2023 at a cask strength of 55.2% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. Only 199 bottles were filled. It has no added colour and is not chill-filtered. The release draws on a Rangers tradition. Thirty loving cups were made for the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth in May 1937, and one was presented to the club by Stoke City's chairman, Sir Francis Joseph. It began the custom of toasting the reigning monarch at the first match of the new year.
