Rapitala Nero d'Avola Sicilia DOC

A Nero d'Avola from Sicily. It shows a deep ruby colour with violet hues, with aromas of ripe red fruit, cherry and plum alongside Mediterranean scrub and black pepper. The palate is medium-full, enveloping and savoury, with silky tannins and a balance of softness and acidity. It suits grilled meats, rustic ragù and aged cheeses, and also richer Mediterranean dishes. Serve at a moderate temperature and open a few minutes beforehand. It has some potential to develop in bottle when stored correctly.
