Rebel 100 Proof Straight Bourbon Whiskey (50%)

Rebel 100 Proof is a wheated Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 50% ABV. It is a stronger version of the original Rebel, made to a recipe dating back to 1849, when the original was created at what later became the Stitzel-Weller Distillery. Wheat rather than rye is the secondary grain in the mashbill, which gives a softer flavour. The brand is now owned by Luxco. The higher strength brings prominent sweetness and added heat, alongside smoothness, honey and dried fruit.
