Redbreast 27 Years Old Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey (75cl, 40%)

Redbreast 27 Years Old is a single pot still Irish whiskey in a 750ml bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. It builds on the bourbon and sherry cask influence of the Redbreast style, with ruby port casks added for more complexity and depth. The whiskey spent nearly three decades in the shaping, and has a rich texture and a long finish. The nose brings mango, pineapple, blood orange and red berries with fresh herbs, vanilla, treacle toffee, walnuts and toasted oak. On the palate are red plums, black cherries and a hint of chilli oil, then cherry menthol, cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish is long, with ripe fruit and wood spices.
