Redbreast Lustau Sherry Finish Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey (70cl, 46%)

Redbreast Lustau Sherry Finish is a single pot still Irish whiskey bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It joined the Redbreast range in the second half of 2016. The whiskey first spent 9 to 12 years in American and European oak casks, then moved for a year into first-fill Oloroso sherry casks from Bodegas Lustau. The nose is toasted almond, clove-studded orange peel and slowly building juicy sultanas. On the palate come milk chocolate and honey, cinnamon, walnut and poached plum, and the finish is apple turnovers with crushed cinnamon.
