Redbreast Single Pot Still Lustau Edition (75cl, 46%)

Redbreast Lustau Edition is a single pot still Irish whiskey, introduced to the Redbreast range in the second half of 2016. It is bottled at 46% in a 750ml bottle. The whiskey spends 9 to 12 years in a combination of American and European oak casks, then moves for a further year into first fill Oloroso sherry casks from Bodegas Lustau, which were seasoned with only the finest Oloroso. The nose offers toasted almond, clove-studded orange peel and slowly growing juicy sultanas. On the palate come milk chocolate, honey, cinnamon, walnut and poached plum, and the finish brings apple turnovers and crushed cinnamon.
