Redemption 9 Year Old Barrel Proof Bourbon (58.1%)

Redemption 9 Year Barrel Proof Bourbon is a nine-year-old bourbon bottled at barrel proof, 116.2 proof. The mash bill is 76% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley, and the high rye content and strength give a drier, spicier whiskey. Each bottle is hand-numbered. The colour is amber with ruby tones. The nose offers fresh Madagascan vanilla pod caramelised to toffee, dark roast coffee and hints of lavender honey. On the palate it is smooth and mellow, with bacon, smoked meats, hops and white pepper, and a note of wet river stone.
