Redemption Rye Whiskey (75cl, 46%)

Redemption Rye Whiskey is a straight rye made from a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley, using European rye grain. It was distilled at the Ross & Squibb Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, matured in new charred American oak and bottled in Frankfort, Kentucky, at 46% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is bottled non-chill filtered, which keeps the rye's floral, citrus and spice character intact. The tasting notes describe oak and florals opening to citrus with a touch of mint on the nose. The palate is light, floral and citrusy, with slight mint, anise and dry baking spices of cinnamon, allspice and clove, leading to an exceptionally smooth finish.
