Redwood Empire – Grizzly Beast Bottled in Bond Straight Bourbon Whiskey Batch 005 2025 Release (50%)

Redwood Empire Grizzly Beast is a Bottled in Bond straight bourbon, Batch 005 of the 2025 release. It was distilled in spring 2020 and matured for a minimum of four years, then bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof). It is made grain to glass in Sonoma County, California, from a mash bill of corn, rye, wheat and malted barley. It is non-chill filtered and comes in an illustrated red collector's tube showing a forest and a bear. The nose offers vanilla bean, charred oak, toffee and roasted chestnut. The palate brings rich caramel, cinnamon, dark chocolate and leather, and the finish is long and warming with spice and baked apple.
