Pipe Dream Toasted Triple Finish is a small batch straight bourbon from Redwood Empire, distilled and bottled in California at 46% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is made from a four-grain mash bill and finished in toasted barrels of French oak, Hungarian oak and Garryana oak.
The nose combines toasted oak, caramelised sugar, applewood smoke, crème brûlée, vanilla bean and dark cherry, with warm baking spices. On the palate come layered caramel, burnt honey, pie crust, toasted pecan and ripe dark fruit. The finish is medium to long, with black pepper, toasted oak and cinnamon.
