Remus Highest Rye is a six-year-old bourbon bottled at 54.5% ABV. It uses the highest proportion of rye that a bourbon is allowed to contain, and it was made as a tribute to the popularity of rye in the years leading into Prohibition.
The nose is sweet and rich, with fruit and maple. The palate brings robust candied fruit, followed by a lingering finish of spicy cinnamon and saddle leather.
