Resilient 16 Year Straight Bourbon is a single barrel bourbon from Barrel No. 140, sold in a 750ml bottle. It was distilled in Tennessee and bottled by BC Merchants in Pembroke, Kentucky.
The whiskey matured for 16 years in newly charred American oak. It is bottled at 53.5% (107 proof), non-chill filtered, and each bottle is hand-numbered.
The nose brings caramelised oak, dark cherries, vanilla bean, baking spice and toasted sugar. The palate is bold, with toffee, dried fruit, cinnamon, charred oak and creamy caramel. The finish is long, warming and spicy, with oak, pepper and sweet vanilla.
