Rock Island is a blended malt from Douglas Laing, bringing together island whiskies with malts from Islay, Arran, Orkney and Jura. It is bottled at 46.8% ABV, with natural colour and without chill-filtration.
The blend was previously called Rock Oyster and was renamed Rock Island.
Citrus and honey run through the nose and palate alongside maritime notes, light peat smoke and malty sweetness. The finish is medium in length, with aniseed added to the mix.
