Romagna Albana DOCG Passito Soprano Tenuta Uccellina

A passito sweet wine from Tenuta Uccellina, made exclusively from hand-picked Albana grapes. The grapes are left to dry on racks for several months before vinification. The colour is intensely golden, with amber reflections as the wine matures. On the nose it shows apricot, peach in syrup, acacia honey and vanilla. On the palate it is well balanced, with sweetness matched by acidity, a soft and velvety texture, and notes of dried fruit such as walnuts and almonds with delicate spicy touches from ageing. It is best served at about 12-14°C.
