Samore is a Romagna Sangiovese DOC Superiore from Tenuta Uccellina, made exclusively from Sangiovese. Deep ruby with violet hints, it offers ripe blackberry and currant with light spicy notes and a faint vanilla note from barrique ageing. On the palate it is balanced and harmonious, with lively acidity and robust tannins, plus a slightly balsamic finish. It pairs with ragù pasta, grilled meats and aged cheeses, and can develop further with cellar ageing.
