A red wine from Fattoria Zerbina in Romagna, made from selected Sangiovese grapes grown on calcareous soils in a temperate climate. It is aged in oak barrels, giving structure and delicate aromatic complexity.
In the glass it shows a bright ruby colour, with an intense bouquet of ripe red fruits, cherry and light spicy notes. The palate is full, balanced between lively acidity and soft tannins.
It pairs well with Romagna dishes such as lasagne with ragù, roast meats and aged cheeses.
