A Romagna Sangiovese DOC from Terrerosse, grown on clay and limestone hills.
It has a deep ruby colour with violet reflections. Aromas include ripe red fruits such as cherries and plums, sweet spice, vanilla and aromatic herbs from wood ageing.
On the palate it is vigorous and robust yet drinkable, with balanced acidity and soft but evident tannins. The finish is persistent, with returning fruit and spice notes.
