Rosebank – 1979/1999 20 Year Old Rare Malts Selection (70cl, 60.3%)

This is a Rosebank single malt from the Lowlands, released in the Rare Malts Selection. It was distilled on 15 May 1979 and bottled exactly twenty years later, on 15 October 1999, at 60.3% ABV. It comes in a 70cl bottle. Rosebank stood on the Forth & Clyde Canal in Falkirk and closed in 1993. Its spirit was triple-distilled, which is the root of the light, floral character the distillery is known for. This bottling is described as balancing delicate floral notes and bright citrus with the weight of its high strength.
