Rosebank 31 Year Old Release #2 is a Lowland single malt from the 2022 edition, bottled at 48.1% ABV. It was distilled in 1991 and matured for 31 years in a combination of ex-bourbon hogsheads and refill sherry butts. The casks were filled shortly before the distillery was mothballed in 1993, and 4,000 bottles were filled.
The nose is bright and fresh, with lime and lemongrass. On the palate, mint and chamomile meet leather and banana bread. The finish is long and herbal, with sweet peaches and a touch of oak.
