Rosewood 6 Year Old is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey in a small batch bottling, made from a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley. It is bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle.
The whiskeys were matured for at least six years in Kentucky and then combined in small batches. It has no added colouring and is not chill-filtered, and it shows a honey colour with reddish tints.
The nose has toasted grain, rye spice, black pepper and baking spices. The palate is dry and robust, with cinnamon, pepper and toasted wood, and the finish is lasting dry spice.
