Rosso IGT Campiume Vigne di San Lorenzo (13.5%)

A red wine from Vigne di San Lorenzo, the 2019 Rosso IGT Campiume. It shows a clear ruby colour, with aromas of ripe red fruits, light spice and floral hints. The structure is balanced, with present but not aggressive tannins and acidity that gives freshness; the finish is clean and smooth. Medium-bodied, it balances fruit with light tertiary notes. Suited to everyday but careful drinking, it pairs with cured meats, bean soups, rustic pasta sauces, grilled meats, semi-hard cheeses, savoury pizzas and mushroom dishes. Serve slightly cool, around 16-18 C, with brief decanting if desired.
