An Aglianico del Vulture DOC red wine with a deep ruby colour and violet reflections. The nose offers ripe red fruits, plum and cherry, with light herbal and mineral notes recalling volcanic soil. The palate is tannic but composed, with good acidity, smooth tannins and a compact texture. The finish is persistent with fruity returns and light spice. It pairs with meat sauces, roasts and aged cheeses; brief decanting is suggested and serving around 16-18 C.
