This Royal Brackla is a 10 year old Highland single malt bottled by Thompson Bros. It was distilled on 30 April 2014 and bottled in October 2024 at 55.3%, in a 70cl bottle. It matured in a recharred butt and was released in an edition of 387 bottles, without chill filtration or added colour.
The nose has salted caramel, toffee apple, pollen, caramelised pear and soft lemon, over honey. The palate is buttery, honeyed flapjack, pale ale, ginger, pears and red apples, with a little black pepper. The finish is lively and fresh, with lemon and pear returning.
