This Royal Brackla was distilled in 2014 and finished in a Pedro Ximénez cask, number 9346565, before Duncan Taylor bottled it in 2025 at a cask strength of 55.4%. It is a ten-year-old single cask release, filled into 252 bottles without chill-filtration or added colour, and it carries the name The Wolf in the Fairytale Series. The nose offers caramel, toasted nuts, marzipan and dark dried fruit. On the palate come dark chocolate, figs and muscovado sugar with cinnamon and sherry sweetness. The finish is long and velvety, with cinnamon, fine wood notes and lingering sherry sweetness.
