Royal Brackla – 11 Years Old The Octave

This is an 11-year-old Royal Brackla single malt from Duncan Taylor's Octave Collection. It was distilled on 3 June 2014 and matured for 11 years. Like every release in the series, it was finished in a small octave cask, which here had previously held Pedro Ximénez sherry. It is bottled at natural cask strength, non-chill-filtered and without artificial colouring. The finish is credited with a delicate malt carrying warm bread, sweet orange, spearmint and praline.
