Royal Brackla 12 Year Old 2014 Bourbon Hogshead – Cask No. 301482 – Highland Laird – Bartels Whisky (56.2%)

This is a 12-year-old single cask Royal Brackla from the Highland Laird series by Bartels Whisky. It was distilled on 23 April 2014, matured in a bourbon hogshead, cask number 301482, and bottled in 2026 at a cask strength of 56.2% ABV. The cask gave 125 bottles, filled without chill-filtering or added colour. The nose brings ripe apple, juicy pear, light malt and a little citrus, with vanilla adding gentle sweetness. The palate is thick and creamy, with sweet caramel and toffee, light wood and vanilla. The finish carries on with wood and vanilla.
