This is a 13-year-old Royal Brackla single malt, distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2024 by Thompson Brothers at 48.5%. It matured in a refill butt, and 727 bottles were filled. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose offers pine needles, pepper and liquorice, with hints of wheat beer, fennel seed and curry. On the palate come lemon and green apple, then kiwi and a spicy sharpness. The finish brings triple sec and a touch of pastry.
