This is a 14 year old single malt from Royal Brackla in Scotland, distilled in 2001. It is a Carn Mor bottling called The Highland, from a strictly limited release, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose opens with spring wedding images of apple blossom, sugared almonds and polished church pews. As it develops it turns fruitier, with pear and unripe plums, and a touch of chocolate comes through.
