This is a 16-year-old Royal Brackla single malt from the Highlands, distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2023 at 50%. It was drawn from a single bourbon barrel, and 152 bottles were filled. It belongs to the Old Malt Cask series from Hunter Laing, the family company behind the Ardnahoe Distillery on Islay. The firm is known for single cask bottlings, and each month its master blender, with a tasting panel, picks a few casks that have reached their peak of maturity.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
