This is an 18-year-old Highland single malt from Royal Brackla, bottled in 2023 at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky dates from the 2005/2006 vintage.
After its main maturation it was finished in Palo Cortado sherry casks, which add a light sherry note with soft sweetness, nuttiness and warm spice.
The nose brings honey, almonds, orange zest and soft oak. The palate is round and creamy, with dried fruit, toffee, cinnamon and a subtle, dry sherry note.
