Royal Brackla 18 Years is a Highland single malt aged for 18 years and bottled at 46% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. Captain William Fraser established the distillery in 1812 on the Cawdor Estate, after coming home to the family farm from military service and putting its fine barley to use.
Within 25 years the distillery's reputation had grown, and in 1835 King William IV gave it 'Royal' status. The distillery became known as 'The King's Own Whisky'.
