This is a 15-year-old Highland single malt from Royal Brackla, distilled in 2011 and bottled by Murray McDavid in 2026 for the autumn release of its Benchmark series. Just 928 bottles were filled, at a cask strength of 57.2%, without chill-filtration or added colour.
It matured in two stages: first in a traditional European oak sherry butt, then in Pedro Ximénez sherry barriques from Bodegas Ximénez-Spínola in Jerez.
The nose brings milk chocolate, walnuts and biscuit dough. On the palate, creamy malt meets mixed berries and red apple. The finish carries dried cranberries, fudge and cinnamon pastry.
