This Royal Brackla is a single cask Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. Royal Brackla was founded in 1812, and this bottling was selected by the independent bottler Wilson & Morgan for its Barrel Selection series.
The whisky matured from 2011 until it was bottled in 2024, and it was bottled without chill filtration.
The nose is orchard fruits, green apple and pear, with honey, vanilla and light oak spice. The palate is creamy, with malted barley, caramel, ripe fruit, cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish is medium to long, warm, with honey, gentle oak spice and dried fruit.
