Royal Brackla 25 Years Old is a Highland single malt, an original bottling from the distillery, in a 70cl bottle at 46%. It spent a long maturation in first-fill bourbon casks and was then finished in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose brings milk chocolate, freshly ground coffee and roasted almonds. The palate is soft with a pleasant mouthfeel, the sherry notes spreading slowly, and a light savoury note adds depth. The finish is long, with harmonious fruit followed by very subtle dryness and cask spice.
