Royal Salute 21 Year Old Blended Grain is a Scotch whisky made only from grain whiskies aged for at least 21 years. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
Royal Salute was created in tribute to a coronation, and this expression takes the name in a softer direction, shaped entirely by long-aged grain whisky.
The nose is vanilla custard, sweet pastries and coconut cream, with soft oak and gentle citrus. The palate is silky and sweet, with caramel, honeyed grain, orchard fruit, toasted coconut, white chocolate and delicate spice, and a creamy texture. The finish is long and gentle, with vanilla, soft oak and warm spice.
