Royal Salute 21 Year Old Lunar New Year 2024 Special Edition is a blended Scotch whisky from Chivas Brothers, in a 70cl bottle. Every drop in the blend has matured for at least 21 years.
Chivas Brothers created Royal Salute in 1953 as a tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, and the first flagons bearing the royal crest were sealed on the day of her coronation. The name comes from the 21-gun salute fired to honour dignitaries, sovereigns and nations.
It is described as deep amber in colour, with rich fruity aromas and the sweet scent of autumn flowers. The palate is full and fruity with subtle smokiness, leading to a rich, long finish.
