A 21 year old blended whisky from Royal Salute, the sixth edition in its Polo Collection and inspired by the polo scene in Miami.
It is the first Royal Salute to be fully finished in first-fill rye and first-fill bourbon casks. The bourbon casks are said to give vanilla and coconut, with a little spice from the rye. The pink flagon takes its design from Miami's Art Deco architecture.
On the nose there are ripe pears, honey blossom and vanilla pastry, with white chocolate, marzipan and cinnamon. The palate offers apricot, pear drops, coconut and milk chocolate, then lemon curd and gingerbread. The finish is sweet, silky and complex.
