Royal Salute The Time Series 51 Years Old 2021 Release

This is a 51 year old blended Scotch whisky from Royal Salute, released in 2021 as the second edition of its Time Series Collection, a range inspired by the power of numbers. The blend draws on whiskies held in wooden casks by the Royal Salute master blenders over the decades. The nose offers blood orange, sweet aged oak, salted caramel and Manuka honey, followed by hints of sweet hickory smoke, peach and bergamot. On the palate come ripe plums, orange zest and milk chocolate, warmed by ginger and cinnamon. The finish is very long and velvety.
