A nine-year-old Ruadh Maor, distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2020 by The Whisky Chamber, an independent German bottler. It matured in a Pedro Ximenez sherry cask and is bottled at 56.2% in a 50cl bottle, the size The Whisky Chamber always uses. The outturn was 362 bottles.
Sweet sherry notes, smoke and prunes lead the nose. Smoke is clear on the palate, alongside crisp bacon, and the whisky grows fruitier with a hint of redcurrant. The finish is long and complex.
