Russell's Reserve 6 Year Old is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey in a 750ml bottle at 45% abv (90 proof). It is made from hand-selected barrels taken from the centre cut of the rickhouse, and is older than most other rye whiskies.
The colour is a deep mahogany. The nose brings roasted almonds, vanilla, caramel and cinnamon, while the palate offers allspice, pepper and almond, with citrus zest and subtle caramel. The finish is smooth and long, with rye spice and dried fruit.
