Russell's Reserve 6 Year Old is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey bottled at 45% (90 proof) in a 75cl bottle. It is made from hand-selected barrels taken from the centre cut of the rickhouse.
The colour is deep mahogany. The nose is robust, with roasted almonds, vanilla, caramel and cinnamon. On the palate come allspice, pepper and almond, alongside citrus zest and a little caramel.
The finish is smooth and long, with rye spice and dried fruit, ending on black pepper.
