Salina Rosso IGP Guardiano del Faro

A red wine from the Aeolian archipelago, made mainly from Nerello Mascalese. Volcanic soil and marine influence give the grapes a distinctive character. After controlled fermentation it ages in oak barrels, which add structure and soften the tannins. The wine is ruby bright, with aromas of ripe red fruit, sweet spices and a light mineral note. On the palate it is balanced and persistent. It suits grilled red meats, Sicilian dishes and aged cheeses.
