A red wine from Villa Otto Lune, made in the Sangiovese di Romagna DOC. It shows a bright ruby colour, with aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, light herbaceous notes and spicy hints. The palate has fresh acidity, lively but not aggressive tannins, a savoury texture and a medium-length finish. It keeps a discreet balance between fruit and structure.
It suits everyday dishes and traditional preparations: ragù pasta, flavourful white meats, lightly aged cured meats and semi-aged cheeses. Serve at around 16-18 °C; opening it a few minutes beforehand can help the aromas show.
