Sangiovese di Romagna DOC Oriolo Terre di Oriolo

A red wine from Azienda Vinicola Poderi Morini, made in a sober style that reflects the local character. It shows a medium ruby colour, with cherry and small red fruits on the nose, along with herbaceous hints and delicate spicy nuances. The palate is fresh, supported by balanced tannins that give structure without heaviness, and the finish is clean with good savoury persistence. Light floral notes and lively freshness also appear on the palate. It suits salumi, simple pasta or meat sauces, grilled white meats and medium-aged cheeses, and is best served slightly cool, around 16-18 C, and enjoyed young or in the first years after release.
