A red wine from Ronchi di Castelluccio, made from Sangiovese. It has a medium-intensity ruby colour, with fresh red fruit, light floral notes and a mineral hint on the nose. Lively acidity and moderate tannins give a smooth, balanced palate. It pairs with simple Italian dishes such as pasta with sauce, legume soups, white meats, medium cheeses, light grills and mushroom dishes. Serve around 16-18 °C and decant briefly if desired.
