Sangiovese Superiore di Romagna DOC Cornelianum - Tenuta Santini

A Sangiovese Superiore from Romagna, produced by Tenuta Santini from vineyards on clay-limestone soils. The grapes are hand-harvested and selected, fermented in stainless steel to preserve freshness, then aged in oak barrels, adding vanilla and sweet spice without masking the fruit. It shows a penetrating ruby colour with violet reflections. The nose offers mature cherry, plum, tobacco, leather, rosemary and black pepper. The palate balances refreshing acidity with soft tannins, leading to a long, harmonious finish with red berries and dark chocolate.
