Sangiovese Superiore DOC Sprugnolo Valle delle Lepri

An elegant, measured red wine. It shows a medium ruby colour, with aromas centred on ripe red fruits, cherry and plum, light earthy notes and undergrowth herbs. There are also hints of rose petals and a discreet mineral note that contribute to its vivacity. The sip balances freshness and fine tannins, with medium body and a pleasant persistence without excess. It pairs with everyday traditional dishes: tomato pasta, light white and red meats, cured meats and semi-aged cheeses.
