Coriano Fidelio is a Sangiovese DOC from Valle delle Lepri, made for easy, balanced everyday drinking. It is ruby red with clear reflections. The nose shows ripe red fruits, cherry and light floral notes, supported by a hint of sweet spice. On the palate it is fresh, with present but well integrated tannins and a savoury note that supports its expression, leaving a pleasant persistence. It suits tomato-based dishes, white meats and medium-aged cheeses, and is best served at around 16-18 C in a wide glass.
